Michael Ross, guitarist/vocalist is proud to announce the release of his new 2025 single CD, “The Tribute.” Michael Ross is paying homage to three legendary artists, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Al Jarreau and Joe Sample.
Ross have produced his version of Antonio Carlos Jobim’s popular song “Agua De Beber” with a twist, and a taste of Al Jarreau’s version. He gives the song a fresh bossa nova rhythmically rich groove with a lush flair. His smooth smoky voice captures the essence of a cool drink of water on a hot summer day. “Agua De Beber” meaning, “Water to Drink.”
Michael Ross as a guitarist complements the song with an acoustic guitar solo that speaks to you with a romantic touch of artistry while enhancing the message of the song. He brings this very popular song alive.
Michael Ross takes on the legendary Joe Sample’s composition “A Rainy Day in Monterey.” He keeps it smooth while bringing in the rain and later giving it just a slight burst of sun. It’s a very relaxing moment, what a way to spend the day in Monterey
